Shattered Light was founded in mid-2008 by Raid Leader Wren. The Guild was formed on Blade's Edge EU and quickly experienced a partial merger with The Legion of Heroes Guild, and the addition of key members, some of whom are still with us today: Guild Leader Samaramon, Dethra, and Elac. With this initial line-up, we achieved some exceptional raiding feats in Naxxramas and Icecrown Citadel. Wren took over raid leading while Samaramon ran the guild and recruited
As the population of Blade's Edge fell, the Guild funded a move to Argent Dawn, the popular roleplaying realm. We collaborated with friends in Eternity's End Guild to push raids and Mythic Keystones throughout Legion. BfA led to somewhat of a break for the Guild.
Before the launch of Shadowlands, Samaramon convinced Wren to return and to revitalise the Guild together. New members were added - the first one being a Finnish DK, then a panda, a Swiss Army Knife, and many others - and some old members blessed us by returning.
This current incarnation of the Guild is the most stable and arguably the most successful roster, having conquered (most) raids since Shadowlands, with the goal of thriving through the upcoming expansions.
